The education system isn't AS BAD as I make it out to be in this poem. But there certain things I've noticed, as students, which are just plain stupid.
They teach us to do something and not to actually think for ourselves. A friend of mine can solve math equation (and get the right answer) easily through reasoning and not the way they teach it at school, yet they give him low marks simply because he doesn't "show his work". Yet, it's the way Albert Einstein himself solved math problems.
Another thing I've noticed is they drive the passion out of every subject imaginable in school. I loved languages as a kid; it was only once entering school that I slowly gained a hatred for the subject. They don’t really excess your creativity as much as they should. Yes, every now and again I’ll have the freedom of writing with a free heart for a school assignment, but most of the time, they’ll have creative limitations, which I hate, with a passion.
